Breakfast

Wednesday has officially become my 'Breakfast Day'. After my morning lesson ends at 11.35, I will make use of the long lunch break to get breakfast from either Bread Talk or Paris Baguette. Initially it was because I had the two bakeries' vouchers and gift cards, but now, it's slowly growing into a habit. A good one I suppose?

Considering that I never had more than ten proper breakfasts in throughout the whole of last semester, it's amazing how I am now able to wake up early just to have breakfast before lessons each morning. Lessons this semester start earlier, with 8am classes on two days, but up till now, I've never headed out without a cup of coffee and at least a bite of bread or cookie. Someone please pat me on the back. ☺

In Four Words

I must not cry.

Weather has been extremely lovely since last week, I honestly can't ask for more. It's still chilly in the morning and at night, basically before and after the sun rises and sets, but when the sun is right above us in the sky, it's really warm and comfy. That calls for more picnics and chilling at the field! Most importantly, I see no rain for the rest of the week on the weather forecast app. I don't trust it 100% but if it doesn't fail me, I'm gonna be really thankful for this continuous good weather.

By the way, the last picture was taken at Toast Box here in Shanghai. Their kopi and teh taste pretty authentic, but food portions are rather small. Most of all, their fish balls are so disappointing. ☹ Nothing like the bouncy ones we have back in Singapore!

One Quarter Down

I thought this semester was going to pass really slowly, but I guess time really doesn't stop for anyone or anything. It's been a little over a month since I came back, and even though I have my usual Monday blues at the start of every week, weekend comes really quickly too. And before I know it, it's Monday again. I'm not sure if it's because I'm far too distracted... or far too undistracted?
