Little Trip Up The Hill

Annsiang Hill, to be exact.

Been wanting to go there with my friends ever since I explored that area with my mum last year after A's and after postponing the outing for weeks, we finally went there yesterday with our cameras! It started off with a brunch session at The Loft Cafe which serves all sorts of mouthwatering waffles and pancakes. We tried their Peach Cream Waffle, Banana Pancakes and Breakfast Platter :)

The awesome peach waffle!
Look at how we fought for it /o\
Eunice's banana pancakes
Mini pancakes, bacon stripes, sausage, ham, button mushrooms, scrambled egg, yogurt, salad...

Sorry about the inconsistant lighting/colours because I'm still experimenting with Lightroom :/ It's like a magical software that's is a little too complicated for my pea brains but yeah, hopefully I'll get better at it. Guess I'll save the black and white photos + those taken outside the cafe for another post :)

The Sunlight Hurts

Hello world.

Y'know, I spent almost 1 month choosing and editing the blog template, url, header banner etc. When I finally finalised things, I started procrastinating instead of writing my first post because I couldn't decide on how to write the 'perfect' first entry for this blog. I swear I wrote a million drafts in my head when I'm bathing/ waiting for bus/ walking home but nothing was... satisfying :/ I honestly don't know why I care and worry so much about minor things like this.

But here it is...! My unimpressive and meaningless first post just to get the ball rolling.

Don't know where this will lead me to, but I just hope that few years down the road, I won't go back to my archives and cringe at words and thoughts in the past like I always do (although that's highly likely to happen orz). Oh and I'll try to minimise pure text posts, i.e. I better take lots of photos! *kaji kaji*

In case you're wondering about my url:
The sun hurts,
The road that I walked with you hurts,
The song that grazed my ears hurts.
//
The wind hurts,
The sea that we watched together hurts,
The waves that look like you, it hurts.
It's a song by one of my favourite k-indie bands, Standing Egg, called '햇살이 아파'. It's... perfect :') In my definition, at least
